Benny Bear's Starlight Baseball

Benny was a small stuffed bear who sat on Lily's pillow every night. But when the moon rose high and silver, something magical happened—Benny came to life!

One summer evening, Lily left her shiny iPhone on her windowsill. Its screen glowed like a tiny moon. Benny had never seen such a thing. With his fuzzy paw, he tapped the screen, and suddenly—WHOOSH!—he was pulled inside!

Benny found himself in a world made of stardust and constellations. Gigantic animals made of twinkling stars walked beside him. Then he saw the most magnificent sight—a great bull with horns of crescent moons and a coat of golden light.

"Greetings, little friend!" said the Bull with a voice like distant thunder. "We're about to play the most important game of the year. Care to join?"

Benny nodded eagerly. The Bull handed him a baseball that shimmered like captured moonlight. "In the Sky Baseball League, we play for wishes. Every hit sends a wish down to Earth!"

The game began! Star-animals cheered as Benny stepped up to home plate. The pitcher was a swift comet. Benny closed his eyes, remembered all the nights Lily had hugged him tight when she was scared, and—SWING!

The magical baseball soared higher and higher, leaving a trail of sparkles. It flew through the clouds, down to Lily's house, and POOF!—appeared on her pillow.

Lily woke to find the glowing baseball and her iPhone showing a picture of Benny playing among the stars. She smiled, knowing her best friend was having adventures.

That night, Lily made a wish on the baseball: "I wish Benny could always be this happy."

From then on, every star that twinkled extra bright was Benny hitting another home run. And whenever Lily made a wish, she knew her bear friend was up there, making it come true one magical swing at a time.

For the truest friends, Benny learned, are the ones who make wishes come true—even from across the stars.
