Agent Fin and the Sunshine Vitamin Mystery

Lily's goldfish Finbar wasn't like other fish. While her friends' fish just swam and ate flakes, Finbar wore tiny spy goggles (which Lily had made from paper clips) and communicated through secret bubble messages.

"Agent Fin reporting for duty!" his bubbles would spell out, popping on the water's surface.

One summer afternoon, Lily spotted something strange shambling through her garden. A figure with patchy green skin moved slowly, like sleepwalking through mud. Leaves crunched under its feet.

"It's a zombie!" Lily gasped, diving behind her lemon tree.

"Wait," Finbar's bubbles read. "I've been tracking this case. His name is Zed, and he's not scary-zombie. He's forgotten-zombie."

Zed the zombie shuffled closer. His eyes looked like foggy windows. "I... forgot... something... important," he mumbled slowly, sadly. "Something... that... makes... everything... bright..."

Lily crept out from hiding. Zed looked more lonely than frightening. His green skin wasn't slimy - it was like moss that hadn't seen sunshine.

" sunshine vitamin s!" Zed suddenly remembered, his voice perking up. "The magical ones that grow in friendship gardens! They make everything sparkle!"

Lily's grandmother had told her about sunshine vitamins - the magical energy that appears when friends help each other, when gardens are tended with love, when kindness spreads like morning light.

"I know where to find them!" Lily grabbed her enchanted watering can (the one painted with rainbow stars). She led Zed and the fishbowl to her secret garden patch.

Zed took tiny bites. His foggy eyes cleared like windows after rain. Color bloomed on his cheeks like spring flowers. He stopped shuffling and started SPINNING!

"I remember!" Zed cheered, his voice strong and clear. "I'm the Garden Guardian! I help magical things grow!"

Finbar's bubbles formed a tiny spy badge: "Case closed!"
